The Research and Analysis Division of INFC prepared this report, Adapting Canada’s Infrastructure to Climate Change, to provide an overview of literature related to climate change adaptation and infrastructure in Canada. In addition to providing such an overview, the report’s objectives also include: improving knowledge and understanding around climate change adaptations for infrastructure in Canadian cities and communities and presenting key research findings. 13 It focuses on anticipatory and planned adaptation, which includes activities taken before impacts are observed and resulting from deliberate policy decisions.
